Abstract
Raman scattering is a powerful technology for solid materials research. Following the author’s Raman series lecture-I: “Combined Raman/Photoluminescence Studies on Advanced Semiconductors and Nano/Quantum Structures by using Renishaw Micro-systems”, given on 2013 January 8 at 中科院寧波材料研究所, organized by 公共技术服务中心, where various results by micro-Raman/photoluminescence using Renishaw systems were introduced. Current lecture is focusing on the basic concepts and principles of Raman scattering, and its application to Si, epi-Diamond/Si, ZnO bulk/films and related materials.
